The Dealio
So, I know we don't have very many friends, but I am summoning the advice of what friends we do have. So, be there or be square.
Dave and I are looking for a place to live and have narrowed it down to two. An apartment or a duplex.
Apartment: 2 bed, 2 bath; no garage; brand new, never lived in; 2 months free rent.
Duplex: 3 bed, 2 1/2 bath; 1 car garage; has been lived in, but is still very clean; $55 more per month; no free rent.
Ah, yes, I hear you. No brainer, right? Go with the duplex? No apartment life, space for our ridiculous amount of crap and a garage is pretty priceless in these LONG winters. Well, guess what? The neighbor is a registered sex offender, convicted 10 years ago for rape of a child. AWESOME! And there are about 50 other registered sex offenders within a 5 mile radius. The apartment has no sex offenders and only 2 within a a 5 mile radius.
I can't think it through anymore. Whenever I try to make up my mind, I feel like I probably look like Storm from X-men with white eyes because everything in my head is just fog. So, if you don't mind, I'd like you to decide for me and I'll hold you responsible for anything bad that happens. Deal? GREAT!

New Hat
Miles got a new hat. It's "OS."
Who is ready for summer? We are! Coeur d'Alene offers us a few nice days here and there. We totally gobbled this one up with a hike around good ol' Tubbs Hill at the lake. It was delicious.

It was a big day for the little guy, and he totally zonked toward the end of our hike.
