Eagles

After it finally snowed in Coeur d'Alene, it got freezing cold.  We all bundled up and braved it one day to go see bald eagles.

Before we go on the eagle trip, I feel obligated to put in these pictures of this blue heron.  It's a pretty cool bird and, as a matter of fact, it's the animal I would be.  Nothing special about the pictures but I bothered to take them so.... here they are!

Now on to eagles.

I saw about three from the car window just driving to the look out spot.  Pretty cool!  But here's the one I actually grabbed a picture of:
