Celebrating Miles-- it's great to be EIGHT! (July 2016)

Aw, Miles.  He turned 8 on July 14, 2016.  He had a great birthday on the lake with cousins and family!

Miles was all, like, Mr. Daredevil on the tube standing up and stuff.

He must have been dumped.  Fun times!

We made the mistake of just doing a Costco cake since a lot of people might have been there for cake... tell you what: easier is more convenient, but it doesn't taste better.  But Miles chose a hockey cake, so there's that... I guess?

On my mom's actual birthday, she decided she wanted a party in the park!  A good choice when you have so many little grandkids.  It was fun to be there to celebrate with her!

Oh boy, this was the day Dave got the call from his new company telling him his interviews at their corporate office went well and what hospital would he prefer?  Summerlin or somewhere in Florida?  He said Summerlin and the rest is history!

This was also the day we went on one of my favorite hikes I've ever done.  Just the two of us way far away in the mountains of the Idaho/Montana border.  It was so beautiful and fun.  Good difficulty, varity in the terrain and views... love it.  We also saw a mama moose and her baby that day!
