An AZ Hike

The only pictures I have from our time in AZ are from a hike we went on. We went through a cactus forest of sorts. It was really quite cool.

The cactus were everywhere and some of them were kinda crazy and/or ginormous.

Check out this sucker:

Miles and my Grandma enjoying a snack.

That's right, folks, my 88 year old Grandma went hiking with us. I was BLOWN AWAY at how amazing of a hiker you can be when your 88.

One of those irresistible things of this earth: dirt.

Some scenery:

I could totally imagine some of the cactus coming to life. They kind of look like they could be cactus people to me:

And this one would just have lots of arms...

A dead cactus:

Did you know cactus are all wood inside? I didn't! Learn something new every day, don't we?

Sure was a good time in AZ! We played, we swam in the hot tub, we ate at In-n-out, went to baseball game and ate a hot dog. Only one funny story is coming to mind all these weeks later, so that's all you're going to get.

Here she is:

When we were driving from CA to AZ we went by the smelliest cows of all time on all the earth. It was dark so we didn't see it coming and couldn't do a preemptive recirculation of our air. So it REEKED for a good (miserable, actually) 10 minutes at least. In the midst of my dying from the stench Miles said in a somewhat disgusted voice, "Who's poop comed in the car?" Haha! Funny. See ya!
