We went to Florida! It was AWESOME. Pensacola is only about 8 hours from Houston, and if you are a Lawson, that pretty much means your bum barely touched the seat of the car.
This was the first time Dave has taken any time off (read: he worked Christmas Eve) since he started his job here in Houston. It was really nice to get away and go on a little DAM trip.
As you can imagine, I have a bazillion pictures from the trip, so get ready for multiple upon multiple Florida posts.

Honestly, is there anything much better than a beach day?
