I'm annoying, but sometimes it pays

What can I say? It was 50 degrees outside.

It can sometimes be horrendous to be me. Miles has been whiner 49er since his shots and this afternoon I was going NUTS. So, I decided we'd go on a walk. And, like I said, it was 50 degrees outside, so I got Miles all bundled up like it was 10. Naturally. That's the way I do things. I worry too much and go way overboard. After I got Miles all bundled I took him outside to the light rain. Fantastic! We didn't get all bundled just to turn around and go inside. So we walked in the rain.

In the end, I was glad I was over prepared, and I always am. So I guess I will remain--horrendously-- myself.

Come on, Dave. You know deep down inside that it's endearing.

Ouch

Poor Miles got 4 shots today. The stupid nurse hit a vain or something and blood came oozing out his leg like the needle was the size of a pencil. I'm sure he'll have a big bruise. At any rate, I got a good look at his teeth while he was screaming his head off, but that definitely didn't make it worth it. Go figure.

Getting to know Dave

I just sent the following email to Dave as I knew it would brighten his day to the brightest of all brights.

Miles peed on me today after his nap. I held my hand over it and it went down my sleeve. I took off my shirt ASAP and then started a load of wash. Before I put in my shirt, though, I gave it a little shake to get the sleeves from being inside out, etc. Pee shook out and I felt it dust my face and chest. Then, I found Miles playing in the toilet.

You know, when it comes down to it, that sort of thing should brighten everyone's day. It's funny. If you don't think so, you should seriously consider broadening your sense of humor.

Who could get mad at that little face for peeing on you and playing in the forbidden toilet?

This is our approximate 10 day forecast.

I love rain, I love rainy days, but our weather pulled a Rexburg on us, minus the snow and worse and more frigid temperatures. It went from a hot September to a mighty chilly October and we pretty much missed the 70s and 60s.

Oh well. Crap happens.

Finally grew a pair...

...of feet! These feet are new and improved: they take steps! Miles finally took some steps on Sunday. This video is from tonight. Enjoy.
