A DAM Christmas

Well, before the clock strikes 12 and we lose this year forever and Christmastime goes completely away, I wanted to put something up about our Christmas.  It was good.  It was great.  It was wonderful.

We tried to go out each weekend to check out Christmas lights-- since most of December has been warm, it was about the only thing we could do to feel Christmas-y.  The last weekend before Christmas we went to check out some neighborhoods around the Houston temple.  The temple was where I felt most Christmas-y, to be sure.

Christmas Eve we went to a friend's house for food, fun and some Christmas spirit with a little nativity play and singing of Christmas songs.

 Miles was a wise man...

...but he never did give that little gift to "baby Jesus."

Then, Santa came to town.  Our town.  And our house.  Check it:

It was just the three of us.  Miles was super into the magic of it all this year.  It was fun.  We ate cinnamon rolls for breakfast, nothing for lunch and french toast for dinner.  We stayed in our pajamas all day and just played with our new toys and spent some much needed time together.  It was marvelous.  Merry Christmas, and goodbye 2012!  Yikes!
