The Houston Rodeo is a big to do 'round these parts. We were unable to get tickets to actual Rodeo, but we still hit up the fair/carnival.
I'm really not an animal lover, so walking around huge buildings with a ton of animals in pens isn't all that exciting for me. However, watching these chicks hatch was fascinating! You should have been there.
Aside from watching the chicks hatch, we saw some pig races, mutton bustin', did some pretend farm workin' and went in a super crowded, gross petting zoo with aggressive animals and deer who were eating everyone's clothes. We also saw the most amount of people in cowboy hats/boots/belt buckles in any one place ever. YEE HAW!
