Gobble Gobble and the Birds and the Bees

There were these cool wild turkeys all over the place at the condo we stayed at in Hawaii.  Our first night, we slept with our windows open and I woke up nice and dark and early to these things gobbling away.

We would eat breakfast on the balcony and watch them poof out their feathers.  They were our breakfast buddies.

And we saw one couple mate.  It was so very, very interesting.  This here male is the very lucky one (if it's lucky for turkeys... who knows?).  And that's all I have to say about the turkeys.
