We went exploring and found the other side of Hapuna. The pictures from the previous post are just on the other side of that little piece of lava rocks and trees:
I couldn't believe how different it was from one side to the other! This side had a lot of trees and picnic tables and significantly fewer people. It didn't seem like a tourist spot. We ate our Subway sandwiches at the picnic table chained to a tree, caught the sunset and took too many pictures. But, hey, we were in Hawaii. What if we never go back?!
We set up the tripod and experimented with some slow shutter moving water...
The sunset:
Once the sun got behind those low clouds, it got a little underwhelming. Not to worry, we went back another night so you have another billion pictures coming your way.
