We went to Disneyland! It was Miles' second trip in his life, first that he'll remember any of. See snippets of his first trip here.
Miles doesn't exactly love scary things (understatement of the century). So we did what any good parents would do and took him on Tower of Terror first thing. He absolutely loathed it. But we knew if we didn't get that out of the way first, he wouldn't go on anything. Talk about starting out with a bang!
Complete terror, as promised in the title of the ride.
I think he did better on Space Mountain, though it doesn't look like it.
And by the time we got to Splash Mountain, he was all hands-in-the-air-like-he-just-don't-care like a pro.
Cars Land was fun:
Cars is one of the few movies Miles would actually sit and watch when he was little, so he enjoyed Cars Land.
Complete and total exhaustion! We really squeezed every penny out of our tickets, arriving shortly after the park opened at 9am and staying until it closed at 11pm! One of the last rides we went on was the Submarine ride and I could literally not keep my eyes open on that thing! AND, believe it or not, I got blisters on the bottom of two of my toes! Only Disneyland can make people endure such exhausting circumstances. :) Great time.
