Miles got glasses.
He failed the vision test at school and never told me about it or that he had a note/form thingy from the school nurse that we had to have an eye doctor fill out and return to the school. There was no date on it so I'll never know how long it sat in his backpack before I found it. Kids.
Dave and I had some suspicions that he might have bad eye sight, but he was reading fine, seeing everything at the zoo, etc, etc. Anyway, maybe I'm a bad parent for not catching it earlier, but that's all water under the bridge now! He got his glasses for the last week of school, back in May.
